Creative Activity: Suzi (born Suzanna Hazel Pye) is an English artist inspired by surface pattern, colour and texture. She uses many techniques and media in her work including her own printed repeat pattern designs. She is currently making mixed media artworks. She also has a range of handmade mosaics, jewellery and greetings cards.

Exhibitions and events: Suzi is currently working on a postcard artwork for the annual Pakefield Postcard Auction in aid of Suffolk Artlink held on August 12th 2020.

She exhibited a new mixed media collage for a show with the theme of ‘Bugs and Blossoms’ at the Ferini Gallery. The exhibition which was part of Waveney and Blyth Arts programme of events ran from Friday 6th September to Sunday 29th September 2019.

She showed a new artwork called ‘Happy Hares’ at a themed group show at the Ferini Gallery in Pakefield showcasing artwork with Hares as the subject. The exhibition ran from the 7th-30th September 2018.

In June/July 2018, Suzi exhibited a new piece of artwork inspired by the theme of ‘River Dwellers’ at a group show for Waveney and Blyth Arts at the Ferini Art Gallery, in Pakefield, Suffolk. She’s delighted to say that the artwork called “River Residents” sold!

More work on show: She has a selected range of handmade jewellery, including bracelets, rings and earrings and also greetings cards at the Ferini Art Gallery in Pakefield. A collection of her handmade ear studs is also for sale at Craftco in Southwold.

Alphabet Project: She has been working on a her A-Z project for over a year and is progressing with a new collection of mixed media artwork, hand-drawn repeat patterns and digital repeats based on the alphabet. Her A-Z will include ammonites, cats and frogs, plus many other motifs . . . . . . . Go to her Blog page to see some designs she is working on.
