I drew this design a while back with fine liners and made repeat from it by cutting the square paper into four, rearranging the pieces and sticking them back together again ( i have now learnt how to use the offset filter in Photoshop to do this!) I created this colourway and like the lilac and green contrast.

This is a detail for a piece of pattern design I made from some felt collage flowers and leaves I created last year. I have added some digital motifs and duplicated the flowers in different sizes to form the pattern. I do like the black background as a contrast to the flowers and you can feel the texture of the felt too.

Here I have taken a little doodle with a biro and worked it into a repeat with a blue colour way. This fabric design features on a new mosaic circle which will be on the site soon.

I like the combination of colours in this design. Firstly I have drawn the flowers with felt tips, then created the repeat pattern in Photoshop. I have enjoyed playing with the colours, which look quite different from the same design in my last blog post.

A  Happy New Year to one and all! To cheer myself up in these grey winter days, I have been drawing flower designs with lovely felt tip pens and then creating a repeat print from the motifs in Photoshop. This design with a blue background will form a collection of blue and white fabric mosaics.

This is a oak leaf rubber stamp which I made ages ago, which I have scanned and used as a bold print. I am making an autumn inspired circle mosaic at the moment which uses this motif.
