This is a detail from another new greetings card. It has lots of layering with millefiori paper weight inspired flowers, which remind me of stars in the night sky.

I have called this piece which will become a new greetings card ‘Pink Collage’, which is what it is! I have made it by using acrylic paint onto paper, with elements of printing and some use of oil pastel and gouache. I have cut the flower and leaf motifs out and then arranged them on a pink acrylic paper background.

This piece is going to be called ‘Porcelain Flowers’. It will form a new set of greetings cards I am having printed. I created the design by layering images over each other, including Lowestoft Porcelain inspired drawings.

This is a new piece I have been creating from hand painted, printed and drawn paper cut outs, on an turquoise acrylic painted base. I have enjoyed using techniques with no computer involved! This piece will I think be used for fabric prints and a new set of greetings cards.

I have just had this design digitally printed onto cotton and will be using it in a new circle mosaic. The pattern is influenced by 18th century Lowestoft Porcelain and is hand drawn. I have added little scanned mini felt flowers to this design too. I am lucky enough to have a museum down the road from me who has a great display of Lowestoft Porcelain on permanent show which I visit often!

This is a detail from a collection of artworks I have been creating in Photoshop. The artworks will be 15 x 15cm on printed cotton with additional hand-painted/printed accents. They will be presented in a rebate glass frame. Watch out for a new page of artwork appearing soon on this website!

These are some doodles which I have developed into colour flower motifs. I will be using them in artwork and cotton prints for mosaics and maybe some pendants.

I have just completed some more designs which are being digitally printed onto cotton as we speak! This design features a scanned polymer clay cane and a lino print motif.

These hearts are going to become statement brooch’s!  Being 5.5cm in diameter they will create some impact when worn. I’m going to add a bit more hand painted detail, then attach the bases and bails.

Monday 2oth April 2015

These are made using my new digitally printed cotton fabric and elements of hand painted/printed details. You may recognise the prints from my greetings card designs and also from the complex millefiori style patterns which I have shown on a previous blog post. These rectangles are about 5cm high and 3.4cm width. I will bond them to polymer clay bases and add bails in the next week or so!
