Handmade Fabric Mosaic Frame
Based on folk art decoration, each of the 56 pieces (tesserae) are made individually. They are hand painted/printed onto white cotton fabric. There are also digitally printed fabric pieces.
The mosaic pieces are then applied onto white polymer clay squares, then mounted on a white photo frame. The centre of the frame has a glass square aperture suitable for a 8.5cm x8.5cm photo.
The detailed pattern created in this piece is unique and will not be repeated on another mosaic frame.
